Advertised Job Summary
Under general supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI), Krishna C. Mandal, the Postdoctoral Fellow will perform research on wide bandgap semiconductor materials, device fabrication using photolithography, and device characterization & testing. Specific characterization tasks will include electrical performance studies by temperature varying I-V and C-V measurements, defect characterizations by optical/x-ray microscopy/topography and deep level transient spectroscopy (DLTS), and device evaluation by pulse height spectroscopy (PHS) through multichannel analyzer (MCA). Additional responsibilities include data analysis, co-authoring publications, methodology developments, and graduate students’ training. 
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
PhD in Electrical Engineering or similar materials science-related field. 
Preferred Qualifications
The candidate must have expertise in wide bandgap semiconductor detector device development, pulse height spectroscopy and deep level transient spectroscopy, and data analysis using LabVIEW and MATLAB software.
