We are dedicated to discovering and developing life-changing treatments for patients with under-addressed neurological, endocrine and psychiatric disorders. The company's diverse portfolio includes FDA-approved treatments for tardive dyskinesia, Parkinson's disease, endometriosis* and uterine fibroids*, as well as clinical programs in multiple therapeutic areas. For three decades, we have applied our unique insight into neuroscience and the interconnections between brain and body systems to treat complex conditions. We relentlessly pursue medicines to ease the burden of debilitating diseases and disorders, because you deserve brave science. *in collaboration with AbbVie

About the Role:

As part of the Neuroimmunology Research Team, the individual will be a key player in assessing drug effects in the development of innovative therapeutic approaches to target autoimmunity and inflammation in disease progression in neurodegenerative and movement disorders. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated scientist with extensive knowledge and experience of cellular and molecular immunology, antibody discovery and in vivo animal disease models who also shares our passion to help patients live a higher quality of life. The successful candidate will work in a highly team-oriented and collaborative environment. The focus of the work will be to independently design, develop, and validate the cell-based functional assays and rodent disease model development to test and analyze molecule activities, investigate the mechanism of action of drug candidates, and ultimately deliver preclinical evidence for future clinical testing. The candidate will possess a breadth of knowledge/research skills of cellular biology, immunology, neurology, and laboratory experience across both in vitro and in vivo disease model systems, exploring the cellular, molecular, and phenotypic underpinnings of CNS disorders.
