About the Role:
Leads and supports the Neurocrine Audio Visual (AV) environment as the senior Neurocrine AV technician. Ensures that all AV requirements requested by internal customers are met and provides AV/IT technical assistance to the customer as required. Trains desktop support and junior AV technicians. Understands Crestron hardware and can build and repair a Crestron room as needed. Can create alternate temporary solutions when required. The job includes managing and supporting Zoom Rooms and setting up additional speakers and mics for events. In addition, managing special requests as needed. Escalates advanced AV issues to external vendor and drives quick resolution. This is a very visible position and requires excellent communication skills dealing with internal customers daily. This position uses the Neurocrine help desk ticketing system to track and resolve issues._
Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):Manage the Neurocrine AV environment. This includes day to day operations, proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and escalations to 3rd party vendors as needed
Works on assignments that may be complex in nature where technical know-how and initiative are required to resolve problems
Provide support for conference room setup, audio/video conferencing, and other audio/visual and associated IT related tasks as necessary
Can provide alternate solutions when technical issues
Perform scheduled maintenance of all audio-visual equipment including software and firmware updates including built in personal computer devices
Focus on remote setup, support, and maintenance
Maintain inventory of software versions, hardware models, and other necessary equipment
Interact and strategize with external vendors to obtain warranty repairs and technical support
Coordinate and assist in setting up equipment for special events as needed
Expert knowledge on how to use and troubleshoot Zoom\Teams meetings
Connect to WiFi and share screens on various hardware devices (PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone, Android)
Train internal and external users how to start meetings, change options, and proactively setup new meetings
Setup speakers, music, mics, etc. for special events
Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests
Provide AV technical support across the company (in person or over the phone)
Focus on remote support solutions that allow for high efficiency
Notate all work in service-now ticketing system
Provide break-fix support for all AV hardware
Test new technology
Other duties as required
Associates Degree and 6+ years of related experience as an AV Technician or other technical role where AV is a part of the job
Zoom Room configuration and support
Crestron hardware knowledge and ability to build and repair equipment
Understanding of Microsoft Windows 10 operating system
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment
Ability to analyze technical data and troubleshoot routine to complex / diverse issues, and communicate with others to resolve quickly.
A working knowledge computer hardware, software and networking technologies, including, but not limited to, microphones, speakers, conference phones, video conferencing codecs/cameras, displays (projectors, TV's, monitors, tablets), recording/streaming equipment, audio amplifiers and mixing boards
Uses established skills to perform a range of daily operations
Applies understanding of company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks
Understands how own area contributes to the achievement of objectives
Demonstrated advanced problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Leads the Neurocrine AV function
Ability to work well individually as well as with a team

The hourly rate we reasonably expect to pay is $32.30-$46.87. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
